Death-touched are the descendants of mortals corrupted into abominations by the Nightstalker.

Physical Description:
Death-touched for the most part look like normal humans or elves. However, they exhibit some features that hint at their corrupt ancestry. The nature of these features depends on the nature and distance of the abomination ancestor. Some examples of features are sharp teeth, eyes that glow slightly in low light, or partially rotten skin on a limb.

Death-touched are distrusted by most societies and many societies will banish or kill death-touched that are revealed in their community. Many death-touched end up at the Outcast Community on the eastern shore of the Frostmelt Sea. Some death-touched make a living as fearsome mercenaries.

The other races see little difference between death-touched and abominations. Some humans and enieto recognize that death-touched are born into misfortune and can function as normal members of society, but there is always a worry that the corrupt blood in their veins will take over.

Many death-touched are cynical and worship no deities. Some worship the Nightstalker as a creator god or father figure. Others worship the Gate Warden.
